After living van life for 12 months starting in 2020 I then got a seasonal job Day in 2021 for 8 months over summer and I’m now on the road again

Spent a couple of days in a side road next to the castle with some nice walks around the grounds and woodlands. Down the river taking in a viaduct then leading on to a basin in the river with a niceWeiterlesen
Moved on today. Only a short distance down the rd on the outskirts of Doncaster to walk along the river Don.
Went to visit Doncaster museum today as it a grey cold and wet outside but it was closed for refurbishment so Left the outskirts of Doncaster and headed to Barnsley. Visited the market kitchen foodWeiterlesen
Yorkshire day 5
Another cold and windy day with wet intervals. Decided to leave Doncaster and visit Elsecar. Found a nice spot to park on the top of a hill overlooking the reservoir. Had a walk downWeiterlesen

Walked Sam up to an disused colliery outside of Elsecar this morning. Looks like it’s been turned into a private residence then back to the van for breakfast beforeWeiterlesen
Slow day today. 8 miles this morning back to the van for just after lunch then moved on to see the Emley moor transmitter tower. The tallest free standing structure in the uk. Then stopped at theWeiterlesen
After a windy night rocking the van on the hill top viewpoint I woke up to a overcast view of the towers I visited yesterday but it soon cleared up and me and Sam headed out for a walk.
