    3 full days in Paris and I’m ready to move on
    I think I did pretty well in a short time and I’m exhausted from being a tourist - looking at maps, taking photos, working out where to eat, being vigilant, the pickpockets are very opportunistic in Paris.
    It’s been a dream though, I’ve managed to get the first really good weather in Paris this spring so everybody was out being their most Parisienne, droves of people picnicking riverside on The Seine, sunbathing in parks, the atmosphere is busy but really good. I love how at the eateries they sit the sets in rows like on a bus and everybody faces outward to people watch - it’s so clever.
    I met my Camino group yesterday, they were all exhausted after a long haul flight, we did a couple of tours, one on foot, one on bike - I love a bike ride there’s something pretty special about exploring somewhere you’ve never been before on a bike. In saying that it was fecking insane on those roads, no helmets required and you just need to trust that the drivers are doing the right thing because I had no idea what I was doing, I’m flat out riding on the roads in Wang!! The bikes had names on the handlebars - mine was Krusty Crab 🤪
    Today we hop in a train and travel 6 hours to St Jean Pied de Port to begin our Camino tomorrow. I’m excited but frightened
