S Margherita, Portofino and San Fruttuos

Today we caught the train to S Margherita then walked on to Portofino along the cliff top. It was very hot for walking but blue skies above and crystal clear water below. We then hiked straight up the mountain and continued through the Portofino Nature Park, arriving in the little port of San Fruttuoso 2 hours later. This stunning little port/village has boat only access and we spent the next few hours swimming and relaxing at a little bar/restaurant before catching the ferry and train back to Rapallo, once again enjoying breathtaking views of the coast.Leia mais
