Muggia / San Rocco

21.9 km, 570 ascent, 500 descent
Another very warm day for walking but we set a cracking pace once we realised that a beautiful pool awaited us at our final destination. We actually managed to completely lose the trail (really for the first time) which resulted in a detour of bush bashing up a steep hill - we were pretty delighted to get back on track after this.
We walked through the town of Muggia, right to the seafront and then continued on to the small port of San Rocco. It was a lovely final destination and we spent the late afternoon swimming and lazing in the sun then celebrated with a bottle of Prosecco and dinner at a small waterfront restaurant.
