Trip cut short ... back in Oz

Due to the serious and rapidly changing Covid-19 situation, Team Marich has successfully completed their Race Around The World mission - 3 International flight cancellations, 2 abandoned Ryan Air flights, a late night border crossing just hours before it closed, a faulty system that indicated we had been in Portugal for 1250 days .....we are happy to be back in Australia and relieved that we managed to escape the Europe lockdowns by just a few hours.
We will now begin our 14 day isolation at an apartment (strictly no contact with others and not leaving the property for any reason) but we really look forward to seeing our friends and family when it’s safe to do so.Read more
