Over the mountain to Campese Beach

Today I took the very scenic bus trip up one side of the mountain and down the other, to the village of Campese - this consisted of over 30 hairpin bends and the views of Giglio and beyond were incredible.
I spent the afternoon swimming at the red sand beach which I had pretty much to myself (other than a lifeguard) and relaxing on the deck of the beach bar.
I loved the ferry trip back to Porto SS again (it feels like a scenic cruise) and arrived back at the apartment for another fabulous sunset.Read more
