A quick visit to Dotonburi

We planned to go to Dotonburi just for an hour or so because we were both quite tired... but we ended up staying for 4 hours because it was so cool! It's just a looooong street filled with shops.

There was a bridge that we walked over that was packed with people. There were LED billboards everywhere - it's like the Times Square of Osaka. There were street performers too.

I found a cool comic book store that sold comics for $3 each! I got one for Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, and One Piece. We also found the world famous Pokemon Centre at the top of a 9-storey mall, and the Pokemon Cafe which sells Pokemon themed food.

I also bought a nice top from GU that has a Kuribo on the front, and some socks with Blue Eyes White Dragon on!

Then we got some Japanese cheesecake which is super fluffy. The difference with this one is that it has raisins at the bottom for an extra bit of sweetness. I think it's delicious, Frankie doesn't like the raisin part.Read more
