Travelling to Te Anua.

A 7.00am start from Lake Tekapo began our 9 hour journey. So much of it could be classified as a scenic drive. Photos from a moving van just don't work for me, so much of the beauty has gone unrecorded. We said farewell to Mount Cook on the way past. Breakfast was at Lowburn free campsite near Cromwell, where Rob had a swim. The lunch stop was Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown. We finally arrived in Te Anua. The town was not inspiring, but it seems to be the gateway to everywhere. We are preparing for Milford Sound tomorrow.Læs mere
