Lake Tekapo

Another change of plan! The weather in Lake Tekapo was so perfect we decided to stay another night. The last photo is our campsite outlook. This means a lot of driving tomorrow to Te Anua. We were supposed to have relaxed today, but we did a 3 hour walk up Mt John to the Observatory. A swim cooled us off. The sky is clear tonight, so at 10 pm, we are back to top of Mt John for a time with the telescope to have a star gazing experience.Read more
