Kaohsiung Taiwan

A long day of travel brought us to Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan to visit David, Rena, and Rena's parents, Eugene and Maria. On Saturday, Eugene very kindly drove us to a Buddhist temple on the outskirts of Kaohsiung. It covered a huge area, and we learnt the life story and teachings of Buddhism. There has been a lantern festival throughout China. Many of the paper decorations were still in place. The centre of Kaohsiung has a big lake and recreation area. The dragon and tiger are the emblems of Kaohsiung. We had a family meal in an English restaurant, then an amazing shoulder, foot, and leg massage, making for a very restful night - some of us sleeping during the experience.Okumaya devam et
