Another Medieval town, Guerande

Took the ferry (free) outside our accommodation across the Loire and drove to Guerande. Weather not great but interesting medieval town to wander. Came back via the coast around La Baule-Escoublac and was amazed at the highrise apartments stretching for kilometre after kilometre (one street back still have some lovely old houses). The beach must be packed in summer. Drove over an enormous bridge at the mouth of the Loire.Read more
