NH - Lake Winnipesaukee

Not being able to go to Canada means we have two days to fill that weren't planned.

Having spent a week travelling along the coast in Maine, we decided to get back inland to New Hampshire and spend a couple of nights along Lake Winnipesaukee, the biggest lake in NH.
A big tourist magnet in the summer but at the end of the season it's rather sedate and just beautiful.

We spent the day driving around the lake (literally), stopping at various places to take in the scenery, walk along brooks and just enjoy the views and sunshine.

A gorgeous day it was!!
