NYC - 24 hours in the Big Apple

What to do in a city that is far too big to explore in a few hours ??

Choices have to be made
Priorities have to be set.

Prio #1 - meet Jana, a friend I haven't seen for more than five years and spend the evening with her

After that, we didn't have any specific plans, just to get a feeling for a city we definitely want to come back to. Hence we ended up ...
👆 riding the subway in the wrong direction but only for one (long) stop 😳
👆walking through Central Park - from Strawberry Fields and the Lake all the way to 5th Avenue
👆walking even further down to 30th West Street (should have taken the subway) to walk along the High Line
👆 exploring Chelsea Market and Meat Packing District Neighborhood ... also on foot.
👆in Starbucks Reserve Roastery - apparently only one of five global locations where coffee is roasted
👆queued for ages to get up (and down) to 'Top of the Rock' - the observation platform at the Rockefeller Center

All the big ticket items - Ground Zero, Empire State Building, a show on Broadway, a trip to the statue of Liberty etc have to wait for our return to the Big Apple.
