Anchored at the 79th street boat basin. Great view and easy access to the city. Went to shore for a short excursion and some indian food!
Spent the day in the city. Visited the museum of Natural History, bought some food from a farmer's market. Walked - a lot! Night was quite agitated, windy and noisy.
Left the 79th street anchorage and headed to Sheepshead Bay. Said hello to lady Liberty. Had some engine trouble on the way - something got stuck in the cooling system. Matt fixed it while I pilotedWeiterlesen
Looking for a new dinghy
The longest we've stayed in one place so far. After getting a new dinghy yesterday we needed a new motor to go with it. Hopefully we will have one by the end of the day! The girls got to do some netWeiterlesen
So we ended up trading our 2 hp engine for a 6 hp one. Mario, the man we traded with, even got us food! Pizza for Matt and Lily and meatball sandwiches for Maya and me. Thank you so much, Mario! ItWeiterlesen
