A Special Day

This was such a special day because we caught up with Fabian (or Faberjan as we used to call him 😊), an international student who came to NZ to study English and lived with us for a year when he was 17. We haven't seen him for 14 years and it was so good to give him a big hug. The conversation flowed easily and it was as if we'd seen each other only yesterday. We have been to Berlin before but its rich history still fascinates and intrigues us. The green tower in one of the pics depicts the oldest traffic light in EuropeLæs mere
