St. Jean at night

My birthday

Spent the last 53 years with family I figured I could spend the 54th with a bunch of strangers. What great stories they have!
Up one side and down the other

Climbed the Pyrenees mountains today! Pictures never seen to do it justice. At least I great to stay in an old ministry tonight.
The trip to Pamplona

What a beautiful walk today. And a great welcome when I walked into the square in Pamplona.
Calf brains and pig ears

Took a rest day in Pamplona to enjoy the city what a wonderful place, spectacular people and amazing foods.
The eternal peligrinos

Leaving Pamplona and moving up to the eternal Pilgrims on the Hill.
The fountain of never-ending wine

Had rain on and off today but I went by the Winery along the way that set up a tap for all Pellegrino's going by. And a few shots of my bed for the evening and the Pellegrino family dinner.
Lograno

An extra day for a little art and culture about the country on walking across.

Art!

Walked around the city of Burgos today and found a number of different art museums. Little new a little old. All of it was fantastic!
Inside the cathedral

There is absolutely no way to describe the intricacies and the beauty inside the cathedral so these pictures will have to do till you see it in person.
Sunrise and more!

Starting to cross the Meseta.
A song to start the day.

Rain, rainbow and the moon

Leon!

Just into town.
Enough with the damn aleburgue (not).

I'm going to take a day or two in Leon in order to take in some of the museums and sites of the city. Meanwhile, I need a rest from the alburghs.
