Fairbanks and The North Pole

After breakfast in Fairbanks we wanted to go hiking and swimming, we headed to Chena Lake but not before stopping at the North Pole… honestly this was a glorified Hobby Lobby but you know me, I’m the grinch. Anyway, we moved on to the lake, changed into our swimsuits and boom! Thunderstorms ⛈️ it just was not meant to be! So we drove back into town and hiked at the Creamer’s Field Wildlife center. The mosquitos were impossible! So we went grocery shopping and got out of dodge. Headed to our camping spot but the mosquitos were relentless so we moved the car closer to the Tok cut off in a parking lot where many other RVers were sleeping… tomorrow we are starting out descent into the lower 48 and will be joining friends at he beaches of Alabama!Baca lagi
