Snow Hill Island

The next day the weather was better so we could try a landing on Snow Hill Island with our three helicopers on board. For me it was the first time in a helicoper.. a little bit scary and exciting at the same time. But all the fear was gone when i saw many black spots from above.. - the Emperor penguin colony. Crazy! I made it! That day we were able to spend 1,5 hours with these amazing animals! Don‘t mind my sun burn! I put on sunscreen so many times but don‘t underestimate the sun in Antartica! Czytaj więcej
