Salkantay Trek - Day 4

Over halfway now! Day 4 was another long day (22km with a big ascent in the first 3 hours to Llactapata), but we woke up feeling a bit more motivated because the weather was finally sunny and knowing that we were over halfway and so close to reaching Machu Picchu. The first half of the day was spent hiking up to Llactapata (an Incan ruin), and the second half of the day was spent hiking to Hydroelectrica (a small town) and then along the train tracks to Aguas Caliente.Les mer
