Lake Kaindy

We picked up our rental car this morning and set off on our mini road trip. It took about 5 hours of driving (including some stops along the way for the Black Canyon and stray cattle on the road) to get to the village of Saty, where we would be staying for a few nights. We checked into our guesthouse, and then jumped in a 4x4 taxi (an old soviet van) for the bumpy 30 minute drive to Lake Kaindy. We had to walk uphill for 30 minutes from the car park to reach Lake Kaindy, which was well worth the hike to see the strange sight of the sunken forest.Læs mere
