Day trip to Vardzia and Akhaltsikhe

We booked a private driver for the day to explore a bit more of Georgia. Our first stop was Vardzia - an ancient cave settlement and monastery on the slopes of the Erusheti mountains in Southern Gerogia. We spent a couple of hours wandering around the well preserved and restored cave rooms. Our second stop was the town of Akhaltsikhe and Rabati Castle.
