• Ka kite New Zealand & G'day Oz

    After checking out of the hotel 🏨 and a healthy breakfast at the local cafe, history began repeating itself as today; we say goodbye (or Ka kite) to New Zealand, we have only gone and bought another bag 🎒 a lovely red one that should hopefully alleviate our problem when leaving Sydney for Melbourne on the train 🚆 and any single bag cannot weigh more than 20kgs, so we need another bag to decant and distribute some weight.
    History carried on repeating itself at Christchurch Airport as our flight ✈️ was delayed again but fortunately only by 30 mins and by 5:00 pm we were taxiing down the runway. After a smooth flight over the Tasman Sea 🌊 we flew over Sydney Harbour and treated to our first sights of both the harbour bridge 🌉 and Sydney Opera House. After some time getting through passport control, immigration and collecting our cases, we were met by our driver to take us to our hotel in Sydney's Darling Harbour in his Tesla Model X and it's Falcon wing doors. Boy, did we feel special, sat on elegant single leather seats arriving outside our hotel, and the doors open upwards!!!
