Sailing past Gibraltar

Today was my first daylight sailing through Gibraltar straight. Sea was calm and no cloud on the famous rock. Lots of ship traffic and a surprisingly large number of dolphins.

TravelerYes! There were dozens of pods of dolphins just on one side of our ship. The ships were lined up in both directions. I'm not sure if the ships attract the dolphins of if the two oceans mixing does it?

I’m glad the weather is holding because choppy seas out there could be really hard on stomachs.
