Echoes on the Volcano — Mount Patuha Hike.

Ventured about 50 km southwest of Bandung into West Java’s highlands and found myself atop Mount Patuha—a twin stratovolcano rising to about 2,434 m above sea level . The journey led me past dense forests, strawberry stalls lining the path, and eventually to the legendary green-to-white crater lake, Kawah Putih—nature’s own mood ring .

I feel humbled by how this place transforms with the elements: one moment the lake glows turquoise, then veers pale in the haze while sulfur mists drift through the trees .
