Cool start to the morning..had a great visit with Barb, Ken helped the close the camp and I cooked dinner.

Day 3..left Barb's heading for warmer climate but ran into a lot of snow on I 87. Headed toward Scranton and found Promise Land State Park...simply lovely.

Arrived at Lums Pond SP Delaware the next day we rode through the forest for 75 minutes then on to Elk Neck SP in Maryland

Went for walk up to Turkey point lighthouse...then drove down through the beaches of Delaware and ended our stay at Jane's Island Maryland state park.

Crossed the Chesapeake bay that was 21 miles of scary. Made our way over to The Outer Banks and are sleeping the night on the Dunes. Oregon Inlet

We continued south through the obx ..took a walk at Pea bird refuge ....looked at Cape Hatteras lighthouse and watch kite surfing ....took an hour ferry ride and settled in to Ocracoke NationalWeiterlesen

Left camp early and didn't pay as no one was there. Had a 2 hour ferry ride from Ocracoke Island to Cedar Island. Then stopped at Hammock park for lunch in Swansboro NC then checked into CarolinaWeiterlesen

Filled with propane then moved on to Wilmington and walked the water front. We noticed on the way out of town a sign for the Battleship North Carolina, we toured the ship for 2 hours. Because of theWeiterlesen

We have decided to stay put for three days at The campground of James Island County Park. We went for a walk as they are getting ready for their Christmas Light display.

Stayed at Beaufort Walmart..went for bike ride and saw old historical homes, we took all day to say the towns name right.

Time in Savannah, went for trolly ride....saw children book fair...farmers market...artist market..had Mexican lunch

We went to Hunting park to see devatation of Hurricane..bought sea food..and ate Gulla food then moved on to Savannah for a walk about town.

Traveled from Savannah to Jekyll Island...stopped for lunch at remains of an old rice plantation...then to Jekyll Island campground....bike ride to pier to see sun set, a boat take down and largeWeiterlesen

Another day on Jekyll island....we took a trolly tour of historical distict...had lunch on the veranda of the old club house now a hotel...then finished 20k bike ride back to camp.

Went to driftwood beach on Jekyll island.then traveled to Crooked River SP in St Mary's Georgia...we had two rv accidents..1 antenna...2 side panel

Had a great bike ride around Crooked River S P....very sandy at parks so a bit of a workout...then on to Jacksonville to Kathryn Abbey Hanna city park.

Continued along A1A and saw a lot of Hurricane Matthew destruction...then on to Faver Dykes park...next day walked and biked up the road to get grapefruit and oranges...then camp fire in the evening.
