    After almost a month in Japan without vitamin sea, it was time again for some beach time 😎☀️

    We flew to Indonesia for our last stop and decided to stay in Lombok. We headed directly to the south of the island to a small village called Gerupuk 🏝️

    This village is big on fishing and the locals there make their living from commercial fishing or surf tourism. Gerupuk’s waves were supposed to be suited for beginners so we decided to give it a try 🏄‍♀️

    All surf spots are a short boat ride from the village as the waves break in the middle of the ocean 🌊 Surfing there turned out to be much more difficult than in Sri Lanka as the waves were quite big and the paddling exhausting. So one session was enough… 😂

    As the village only consists of one main road with a few restaurants and plenty of surf shops, the contrast with Tokyo was huge 😅
    However, it was perfect to slow down. We relaxed by the swimming pool at our hostel, rented a scooter to chill on the beaches nearby and went on a day trip to Kuta 🛵
