Day 5-Thursday 3/7

Today we drove to the famous Ventisquero Colgante (hanging glacier) which really is an amazing sight. First we hiked to the summit opposite and then we also took a boat close to the base. I have included a picture of a photograph on the wall of a restaurant showing the glacier about 30 years ago. Climate change!

We stayed the night in the small and remote coastal village of Puyuhuapi, in a hostel that was built after ww2 by German immigrants. The food has been great and craft beer is everywhere.Read more
