Day trip to Bruges

We visited Bruges today, a quite spectacular medieval city nearer to the coast than Brussels. Canals, cobblestones, thin tall houses squished together. There is a Vlamingh Straat, though I couldn't find anything on Wikipedia to link him to Bruges, more Amsterdam. Had to leave Katrina hostage at a restaurant while I went hunting and gathering for an ATM as we didn't have enough cash to pay for lunch!Read more
