Monday Oct 13 Lisbon

So great to travel with John & Madeline again. In the morning we headed off to Cais do Sodre to buy tickets to Cascais. I’d left my wallet at home so we all wandered back - felt guilty about that. The plus was we could stop at the local Poing Doce to pick up a few things, drop them off and head into town. Lisbon is a bit like SMA - cobblestone roads, lot of hills, but charming with its tiled homes.

Had Thanksgiving dinner at a place recommended by Paulo, the owner of the AirBnB. We chose Portuguese specialities - Peter had grilled sardines. I had Corvena fish. Both were good, but missed my turkey.Read more
