Baby Mikey

Well as we were leaving Murray Falls there waa a kangaroo that had been killed, we were towing the caravan but something was telling me to stop and check. So we hauled that caravan around and so glad we did as mama had a baby joey in her pouch. He was so tiny and extremely unhappy about leaving Mums pouch 😔 but it had to be done. We wrapped him up to keep him warm he was just past pinky stage and took him to the vets in Tully. He weighed 900g and is now doing well with a carer ❤️Læs mere
