Mesa Verde

Today we explored the Cliff Palace in Mesa Verde. Always a cool place to go. I could do without the ladders though. Lol
Easton said it was well worth the trip

Today we explored the Mining museum and found another skatepark. Easton has rated it a 6 out of 10. He actually rode it twice today. We made a stop at the cemetery to see Moms and Dads resting spot and actually found my Grandparents marker. We had dinner with my Cousin at Lotta Burger and talked forever. Today we drove from Grants to Antonito. We tried to do a skatepark in Sante Fe but it had homeless people camped out in it so we explored the Plaza. Then on to Antonito where we will ride the train tomorrow. We explored the few things that were in town. The Cano Castle which was pretty interesting with all the things used to make it. Our train ride in Antonito today. Beautiful scenery but very long day. We should have done the trip all the way to Chama and rode the bus back. We didn't get to go over the big bridge. Another time. Then on to Alamosa for the night. Easton was so sweet and took me out to dinner for my birthday. Pretty special. Tomorrow we head to Salida with some exploring spots and a few skate parks.Read more

Great Sand Dunes

Today we left Alamosa to head to Salida. The Skatepark in Alamosa rated as a 6 out of 10. Beautiful park setting on the Rio Grande river. We stopped at the Great Sand Dunes and filled our shoes with sand walking up to the Dunes. Then we stopped at the UFO Watchtower. Interesting. Lol. Then on to Salida. This one rated an 8 out of 10. Our skatepark Adventure tour ended today with our last park being in Gunnison CO. Easton said it was a 6. So with that being said. Salida was the winner at an 8. He did say he likes his home parks the best. What a trip!!!!Read more
