Stayed at camp by the fire with Ron & Val. Greg & Annie arrived at 3pm & Kerry & Bill around 6pm. Saw an echidna & went for tea at hotel & enjoyed pizzas.

Quiet morning. Went for walk down to bend in river. Lovely. Then Ron,Val, Ron & I drove around the town to have a look around. Played cards in afternoon.

Left Pooncarie around 10 am as raining. Roads closed to Menindee Lakes, so travelled to Broken Hill & onto Silverton.

Left our larger group this morning & visited Menindee supermarket briefly & on towards 62km spot. Greg & Annie with us. Ron caught a tiny yabby. And a carp. Beautiful weather.

Left at 10.30 for Boundary Bend via top end of Mildura, Gol Gol, onto Boundary Bend. Lovely spot again

Left Boundary Bend at 10.30 & onto Swan Hill & Kerang. Lunch at the park & visited 2 Op Shops, where Ron found some bargains. Then onto Mike & Dee's.

Stayed at Mike & Dee's overnight & had a lovely tea & a chat. Rained overnight. We left before 10am but was extremely slippery on track & caravan started to slip towards ditch. Ron had let tyres down.Read more
