Canterbury Museum Pop-up

The actually Canterbury museum, the main museum of ChCh, is under renovation rn so they have this free pop up, with some of the highlights of the museum’s collection, and this super cool temporary exhibit by two Māori artists. It was basically a whole crocheted building with different almost totems of figures in Māori culture, all crocheted in neon yarn. You had to take your shoes off to walk around and there was a soundtrack playing. When the soundtrack ended, the yarn was lit up in blacklights to be super vibrant.
