• Marriott Hotel, Buenos Aires

    January 19 in Argentina ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

After a bit of a flight delay with the incoming flight and disembarking of passengers, we finally got onto our aeroplane. Soon we were airborne and on our way to Buenos Aires. The pilot made up a bit of time and our flight arrived at around 2.30am, yawn.

An agent from Seabourn met us and some crew who had flown with us. She got them sorted for our respective onward flights before trying to sort us out. Someone in the office had not added us to her list, nor advised her about the hotel. A few phone calls later it was sorted but the hotel was unaware I was accompanying Paul as the office hadn't told them. Someone told the agent that if I stayed with Paul in his hotel room it, it would incur a fee of over 200 USD! Paul wasn't happy and the agent phoned the hotel direct to check facts. In the end the hotel said they would charge Paul 50 USD for me sharing his room.

The hotel sent someone to pick us up and we finally got to the hotel at 3.40am, checked in, had a shower and hit the pillow.

The transfer to the airport is at around 1pm and our flight to the Netherlands is around 4.30pm.

I'm tired still and could do with more sleep 😴.

The photo is the view from our hotel window this morning after we woke up.
