Cathedral cove / Hot water beach

After some hours at the beautiful beach of Pauanui we drove one hour up north to see the Cathedral cove nearby Hahei. It‘s a big arch at sea level. Quite nice place which can be reached after a 30 min. walk. Afterwards we drove a few km south to hot water beach. With the rented shouvel we started to dig in the sandy beach nearby the water-line. Just a few cm below the surface hot water appeared. After a while the private Jaccuzzi was built and ready to relax (ca. 40C).Read more
