Kaikoura

Wake-up call early in the morning for a 1.5 hours drive to Kaikoura. Nice little town at the beach which is well known for its seafood 🦞 and whale 🐳 watching excursions. Unfortunately the whales had been out of the operated section in the morning hours 🙈. Marc and I planned something different anyway. We went for a walk along the beautiful Kaikouri peninsula where we had seen many fur seals including babies together with their mothers just a few meters away from us. Afterwards I went for lunch together with Marc. I tried green lipped mussels for the first time. It was very delicious 😋!
