Staircase to the moon

Spent all day in Broome relaxing after three days in the bush and a lot of driving. I went for a walk to cable beach in the afternoon. It‘s an assumn beach with a width of almost 300m at low tide! Unfortunately no swimming because salt water crocodiles 🐊 are spotted here on a regular basis (last time four days ago).
Every month Broome offers at full moon 🌕 a so called „staircase to the moon“ event which can be watched from two different places. We went to the Mangrove Hotel to watch this special happening.
Incredible when the deep red full moon rises over the Ocean. After rising for 10-15 minutes it really looks as their would be a staircase to the moon. It was good luck to be in Broome for this special happening! Afterwards we went to the staircase markets in town to get some casual dinner.Baca lagi
