Bell Gorge / 80 km

After a very hot night we left the camping ground for a short drive to Bell gorge. It was already hot again in the morning right after sunrise. A ten minute walk brought us to a variety of different pools all belonging to Bell gorge. We spent several hours in the gorge and swam through the different pools each with a different shape and from shallow to deep. What a refreshness although the water was very warm.
In mid afternoon we drove 60km return to a small roadhouse just to refuel the car for the next day. Had a nice chat with the owner of the fuel station living at Gibb river road without any neighbours (other than some Aboriginals).

We stayed a second night at Silent grove camping ground without power and only with some LED lights and torches.Read more
