The Inside Passage

We returned the car to Vancouver, passing through the US-Canadian border. Once we dropped our bags at the ship, we headed into town to buy some Lindt chocolate and have a hot chocolate at the Lindt Cafe and enjoy a beer flight at the Tap and Barrel on the waterfront.

Once on board we learned two things: 1) the ship is almost exactly like the Diamond Princess we were on in Japan. 2) we were going up something called the 'Inside Passage'. This meant we weren't going around Vancouver Island and into the sea, but through the channels and inlets to be surrounded by land! We were also lucky enough that despite booking an inside cabin, we'd been given one with a window! So we enjoyed some food and trivia, before enjoying a very late sunset.Leggi altro
