    Such a nice last day! Woke up and got picnic breakfast which we ate on the beach! Spent the day sunbathing, chatting, reading and watching paragliding! Weather was actually so nice today!! Had a yummy final dinner together on the beach and then went back to our hostel and sorted our bags - chucked out so much stufff lol! Cannot believe we are home in 2 days - has been the best 5 months of MY LIFE!!!!Read more

    Woke up and said a very sad goodbye to the girls who were going back to Bangkok! :( mils and I chilled on the beach reading and then it started storming so wrote diaries and had a yummy dinner! Made lots of friends with people in our new room who were all so funny and nice and spent the evening chatting to a girl in our room!Read more

    After 45 mins of sleep we woke up and got on our ferry to Phuket - all dead we slept on the floor on the ferry still in half our outfits from the night before and half pjs lol! Got transferred onto a bus for 5 hours and eventually arrived in Phuket at our hostel slumber party for £2 a night - bargain! Had a nice dinner all together and then all went to sleep we were absolutely knackered!!!!!Read more

    Today we woke up early as the air con in our hostel room wasn’t working so it was BOILING! Chilled at the pool and sunbathed with Jess and the others before hanging w Georgie and Imo for the afternoon! Had dinner and got ready for full moon!! Painted everyone with UV paint which looked cool and then got on huge tuktuks to the party which was on the beach! There were like 20,000 people there and we bumped into so many random people from travelling - was soooo much fun! Spent the night dancing and Stayed up till sunrise which we watched on the beach!     Today was sooo much fun! Woke up and had breakfast before chilling around the pool! Made friends with Harry and Jess, two people in our room and spent the day chilling with them! Had a yummy dinner before getting ready for the jungle party - it was sooo cool and so many people there! Bumped into Harry a friend from Aus, friends from Laos and even people from samui! Was soo fun to spend the night with everyone - didn’t get back until 6.30am lol!Read more

    Today we left Koh Tao and got the ferry to Koh Phangan! Checked into our hostel tree chart and bumped into Georgie, Imo & Harry who are all staying at our hostel aswell! Chilled round the pool and then went for street food for dinner which was delicious! Shopped in the markets and had an early night!Read more

    Today was SUCH a fun day! Woke up hungover but headed straight down to the beach for our boat trip to Koh nang yuan! The boat ride over there was a bit choppy but we soon arrived at the most beaut beach ever, I have never ever been in water that clear, it was incredible! Spent the day in the sea with all the fish swimming around us and then hiked up to an amazing viewpoint which was super cool! After this we sat on deckchairs like old ladies having some drinks lol before heading back to Koh Tao! Went for a delicious dinner on the beach and then chilled at our hostel for the evening!Read more

    Today was a serious beach day! Millie sadly had bedbugs (we think from the same ferry as Sasha!!) so started the day getting all her things cleaned! Got up at 9am and went down to our fave beach to chill and sunbathe! Spent the day reading chatting and swimming in the sea! Had the most yummy lunch right on the beach and then headed back to our hostel to chill! Went on the Koh Tao bar crawl this night which was sooo much fun - went to a pool party where we went on slides,then a lady boy cabaret, had live music and then to a club!     Today we got the ferry to Koh Tao! Ended up taking so long in the end but we arrived in Koh Tao at about 4.30pm and it was absolutely beaut! Got a tuktuk to our hostel taco shack and dropped our bags before heading down to the beach for the most amazing sunset! It was sooo beaut ad we all swam in the sea and took some pics! The beaches are incredible here! After sunset we sat on the beach with music on just chatting and chilling all together with magnums chatting! Was such a nice evening all together :)Read more

    Had a very chilled day today as it was our last day in Koh Samui :( it rained a bit so we chilled inside a restaurant by the beach and hung out with Imo and Georgie again! Met some really nice girls from London who are also on a gap year and heard about all their travels! Went for street food at the night market for dinner and I had the most delicious green curry!Read more

    Today was such a nice day! Woke up and headed straight down to the beach where we had lunch - club sandwiches here are SO yummy! We then chilled by the beach/ pool all day and spent time with Imo and Georgie our friends from castaways in Vietnam! So nice to see them :) at 5 we went for our free mojito with the hostel - was delicious and met she other people from our hostel! Spent the evening on the beach with a sunset and had a picnic dinner on the beach on beanbags :) sooo nice! We then had some pres in our room and went out again - the bar on the beach is so much fun! Hung out w Imo and Georgie for the night and met their friend Harry who knew Ellie and Katie from NZ! Finished the night out with cheese and ham toasties from 7-11 of course!Read more

    Woke up and headed down to the beach to sunbathe - weather was amazing! Had a delicious breakfast by the pool all together which was so nice, and then swam in the sea! After this all 6 of us headed down the beach for a Thai massage Hahahaha. Was sooooo nice I loved it and so funny all 6 of us lying in a line getting massages! Deffo going back :) we then met up with a friend Chloe and her boyfriend from home for a beer on the beach which was so nice to see her before going out! Such a fun night out :)Read more

    Today we woke up very early and started a long moving day to Koh Samui! Took all day but we eventually arrived to the most AMAZING hostel called Lub D, it is right on the beach with an infinity pool and sun beds - soooo nice!     Thailand - day 15

    Today we woke up v hungover again lol and spent the day bathing before going on a boat trip! We had a private boat lol and our boat man was called dexter lol - he was so cute. We went to monkey beach which was so cool but the monkeys were kinda freaky lol! After this we went to the most amazing private beach and chilled here chatting and looking for baby sharks! After this we went to the most beautiful blue lagoon - the water was SO clear! we snorkelled in here which was really cool! All swum and chatted before heading back towards the mainland through freaky big waves, were actually a bit freaked out hahaha as it looked like we were in the middle of nowhere! After this we watched sunset in the middle Sea and then had music on and chilled waiting for it to go dark! When it was dark enough we swam with the plankton which flowed in the sea - was so cool but not as good as Cambodia! Headed back to our hostel after an amazing day and then went out this night - such a fun final night!Read more

    Today we woke up very hungover and went to the beach to sunbathe - was so nice! Had pad Thai for lunch again it’s divine! Saw another amazing sunset at a pool party next door to our hostel! It was so much fun and soooo busy - went out straight after and it was so good, we all even went on the skipping rope and got free shots lol!Read more

    Thaikand - day 13

    Today we woke up at 4am for our 6am flight! All knackered but landed in Phuket at 11! Got on a bus and then a ferry over to Koh phiphi and it was paradise!! So excited to be back on the beach and our hostel stones is so fun and right on the beach - it’s so beaut here! We all had pad Thai on the beach watching the sunset was Amazing :) went out this night with a boy from our hostel room and it was SO much fun - our hostel is UV themed and they do fire shows and skipping rope games and stuff - was such a fun night! Even better a whole bucket of alcohol is only £2!Read more

    Woke up on our overnight bus which was horrible lol but we were finally in Bangkok! Checked into our hostel wanderlust and then had some lunch nearby! That afternoon we went to the airport to meet Ciara and Phoebe!!!!!! Sooooo excited to all be together finally & was so nice to see them after 5 months!     Today was a very boring travel day! Woke up and chilled @ Nolo all wanting to cry - it really has been one of the best hostels ever! Said bye to everyone and then got on our bus to Pai!     Thailand - day 10

    Today was genuinely one of my favourite days evaaa! We woke up hanging again lol and had some breakfast! A group of us then headed to the Wednesday gypsy market where we bought fancy dress for a new fancy dress box the hostel is gonna make and then bought plants for the garden which we would come to name Carly and Millie hehe! Jordan is SO full of ideas it’s crazy so every day he basically thinks of fun activities to do so today he organised bracelet making and then a picnic. We went to a hippy jewellery shop/bar where we met the loveliest Thai guy who owned it! Us 4 and an Australian girl sat on cushions on the floor with chilled music on all making these anklets - they were actually quite hard to make but look so good! Was so fun and chilled just all chatting and making jewellery! After this we headed back and reunited with everyone at our hostel (3 new girls were in my room and SO nice) and about 10 of us headed to walking street with Jordan where we bought loads of street food and beers and then took it all to pai canyon. Put picnic blankets down and had a big dinner picnic with drinks at sunset. It was so fun and the acoustic guitarist up there was amazing - the best evening evaaaa!! Millie, Liv Nd Liv them all got tattoos which was sooo exciting by one of Jordan’s friends and they all look amaaazing!! We headed out with everyone from the hostel and bar hopped again! One of the bars had UV paint so I painted everyone lols ! When all the bars shut a guy Jordan knows said he’d keep his bar open for Nolo guests, so we basically shut the front of the bar pulling the metal things down and all sat in here chatting and drinking - was so much fun! Didn’t end up sleeping til 6am - v late night lol!Read more

    Thailand - day 9

    Today was SUCH a good day, we woke up so hungover and spent the morning chilling on the bean bags at the hostel - it’s so chilled and it feels like a proper home, Jordan the guy who runs it is so cool and fun! We then headed to a cooking class which was so much fun! We were with 2 Aussie guys and started off by going to the local market to pick out our ingredients - she told us about prices and showed us all the different vegetables and spices! After this we headed back to the Savoei cooking school where we cooked 5 dishes each! I cooked Thai green curry, pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken&veg, spring rolls & mango sticky rice! It was so fun and our foods was actually so so yummy, the lady who ran the course was so cute and found Liv Roberts absolutely hilarious because she was so useless at cooking lol:) Went out with Jordan and everyone from our hostel again tonight was such a good night! We even bumped into friends from castaways in Halong bay Vietnam in the first bar we went to, spent the evening together was sooo nice to be reunited and was such a fun night!Read more

    Thailand - day 8

    Today we got up and went for a yummy breakfast at a local cafe! At midday we got the bus to Pai - I have never ever been on so many windy roads it was crazy and we drove sooo fast lol. Got picked up by the hostel and soon arrived at our FAVOURITE hostel ever ever ever. It is called Nolo Hub and was built and set up by a 27 year old Aussie guy who is the nicest, coolest guy everrr! It has only been open 3 weeks and are only like the 50th guests ever - they only have 2 dorms open and is under construction still! Met the dog from the hostel Bruce who is a hilarious bulldog and sooo calm and then met the staff - Maya is a local Thai lady and is amazing and so nice. We then headed to walking street and had the most delicious corn on the cobs and dinner from the street food market.Bumped into friends from Chiang Mai and then headed back to our hostel for a pre! Met 3 super nice English girls at the hostel and the other 5 guests who were also so so nice!     Today we had a very early start! Woke up at 6.30am to go on our day trip to Chiang Mai. It was so good, but got off to a funny start. We read on the itinerary that the first spot were hot springs so wore bikinis and it ended up being a hot springs fountain LOL. We then visited the white temple which was so beaut and wandered around here looking at both the heaven and hell parts of the temple! The next stopwas the long neck Karen collage which was sooo interesting. The children start wearing rings at 2 years old and some of the older ladies necks were so long. We wandered around the hill tribe village and watched them weaving scarfs and then visited their straw houses where they live in the jungle! The final place was to the northern most point of Thailand right where it borders Myanmar - did some shopping on the bridge that connects them across the river and bought such a beaut silver bangle!Read more

    Today we woke up rather late as we were all absolutely knackered from the early start yesterday and our night out last night lol. We then headed to a hotel down the road and payed to use the pool. Had breakfast at the pool and then spent the afternoon chilling here! Millie and Liv made up a routine in the pool for us lol and then did us a show!!! We headed back to the night market again tonight for our final pad Thai from our fave lady, very sad!     Thailand - day 5

    Today was the best morning ever ever ever. We got collected from our hostel at 6am and got in a tuktuk with a few other people! Drove for about 2 hours into the jungle and eventually arrived at Chiang Mai elephant sanctuary. It was honestly incredible, the elephants have this huge huge area of jungle which they freely roam in and the staff are soooo nice. We started off putting on these funny tops as then headed to meet all the girls (elephants) lol. They were absolutely beautiful and so so calm. We fed them bananas, gave them hugs by holding the banana behind them and they wrapped their trunks round us, and even played games with them!! It was incredible. After this we went to a mud bath and literally had a mud bath with all the elephants. We scrubbed them down and ended up getting covered in mud especially me because I was having a mud fight with one of the local boys who worked there lol. Was soooo fun! After this we took the elephants down to the creek where we washed them (& ourselves) and they sprayed water EVERYWHERE hahah! Was so cute. Following this we headed to a waterfall to properly wash off and ended up buying some jewellery from a local jungle lady. Had a huge buffet lunch and then waved goodbye to the elephants at about 2pm! Was the best day everrr!! We then had a nap in our room and went on the bodega bar crawl again this night! Was so fun and met so many good people - even bumped into some friends from Laos!     Today was SO MUCH FUN!! Woke up rather hungover but got some breakfast to go and got in a grab to Grand Canyon Chiang Mai. It was the funnest 4 hours EVER! We did the inflatable assault course, falling off every 2 seconds especially because it had been raining which made it even sloppier! Went on the huge slides and trampolines into the water and then did this thing where you sit on one end of the inflated bag and then someone jumps on the other end and you go flying into the water was sooooo fun! After this we did a zip lines across the canyon which was so fun and then did cliff jumping - the cliff jumping was sooo high and actually terrifying but so so fun! We then went on these huge slides which literally make you fly into the water was so funny hahha! We then headed back for some street food and had a chilled early night all absolutely knackered!Read more
