Einmal um Penang

On our second day we did a tour around the island. Actually this island is devided into two parts. There is the huge city of George Town with the harbor, airport and all the hotels on the one side and a lot of nature on the other side. We stopped on some scenic points and had some fresh fruits. All in all it is a very nice island. At night we enjoyed the nice fireworks of the hot air balloon festival. Unfortunately there was a thunderstorm close to the island, so the balloons were not in the air, but the fireworks were good.

An unserem zweiten Tag ging es wieder einmal mit einem Roller um die Insel. Penang hat eigentlich zwei Gesichter. Auf der einen Seite George Town mit unzähligen modernen Hochhäusern, Luxushotels, dem Hafen und dem Flughafen. Auf der anderen Seite viel Natur und kleinere Dörfer. An einigen Aussichtspunkten haben wir angehalten und konnten neben der Aussicht auch ein paar frische Früchte genießen. Am Abend gab es dann noch ein Feuerwerk beim Heißluftballon Festival. Die Heißluftballons mussten aber leider recht schnell eingepackt werden, da am Himmel ein Gewitter aufzog. Das Feuerwerk war dennoch cool!Okumaya devam et
