Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation, AB

Went for another walk along the beach whilst sipping a hot cup of tea (it was 8°C) before striking camp. Beautiful clear morning and more evidence of the wildlife using the beach when humans are not around. Before leaving we visited the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation. We had a wonderful chat with Patti, who as it turns out is also the Executive Director of the Centre. We were stunned to learn how many birds migrate up here every here and of those how many are small song birds. . P.s.
