7th August Nauplia

We left Athens today, our 1st stop was Corinth Canal before the canal was built a roller system was in place to roll the ships across the land & back into the water the canal is 6km long 23m wide & 18m deep. This joins the Aegean Sea to Ionian Sea. We visited the ancient ruins of Corinth fascinating that the city had running water & sewage. Then we climbed to see the ancient city of Mycenae & how the city was able to defend itself. Last stop was the amazing Epidaurus Theatre still used today.
