First experience of the chaotic ferry system in Greece queue in the hot sun with people passing out around you- ferry comes in rush like hell to get on dragging your suitcase up the vehicle ramp which was bloody steep- got a push from some guy to hurry me up. Find a compartment to lift your suitcase into then get upstairs to a comfy seat & breathe a sigh of relief. Same thing in reverse to get off - you have to be quick or the ferry leaves with you on it. Made it to the hotel & wandered along the waterfront to buy some supplies then took a swim at the beach. Had a lovely seafood dinner & now a wine on our deck.Lue lisää
