27th August Milos

Had a tour of the island today, the main source of employment on the island is mining, the French mine all the minerals from the volcanic material which forms the island. Then we went on to the volcanic swimming pool Papafragus, & the moon landscape of Sarakinko which was formed by a lava flow but is bleached white. Finishing up at a little fishing village where the old cave boat garages have now been turned into accommodation.Baca lagi
