21st October Thessaloniki

Up really early this morning & said goodbye to our home for the last 3 weeks. Had a very long drive to the airport in peak traffic & flight delayed for 20 minutes. After sqeezing into a tiny lift with 2 suitcases we found our somewhat small hotel room, I had to put Jeff on the balcony while I sorted out the suitcases & you need to sit on the toilet on an angle so as not to hit your head on the basin when putting the paper in the bin. Once settled in all is fine. We went for a walk & found the nice waterfront & got our bearings & a few supplies. Found a lovely (& cheap) restaurant across the road & enjoyed a quiet dinner.もっと詳しく
