Hostel - Che

The journey to Bacalar was a rough one! I finally arrived at 5am after having no sleep on the bus and went to the hostel. I was unable to check in because of the time so they kindly let me lie down on the freezing outdoor sofa and listen to cockerels for the next few hours! Betty arrived in the afternoon and we decided to go on a boat party where we got taught how to twerk and drank too many shots!
The next morning we decided to get up for sunrise which was beautiful.. and then we walked to an area where we could hang out by the lagoon for the day with another girl from our hostel! The lagoon was so many different shades of blue, it was unreal! We spent the rest of our time in Bacalar cooking pasta, feeding the stray dogs and walking around town!Read more
