Khmer land

We landed in Siem Reap in Cambodia for the next leg of our trip and wow, it was hot here - 28 degrees even at night. We went out for some authentic and a bit expensive Khmer dinner and tried the national dish - Fish Amok. We found it similar to a Thai curry except much more heavier in flavour and texture and lighter on spicyness. Also tried the local rice spirit - Sombai, which was surprisingly light and nice to drink. We were then off to sleep for an early rise the next day for the main event - Angkor Wat.Weiterlesen
