Khmer land

We landed in Siem Reap in Cambodia for the next leg of our trip and wow, it was hot there, with temperatures of 28°C even at night. We went out for an authentic, if slightly expensive, Khmer dinner and tried the national dish, fish amok. We found it similar to a Thai curry except much heavier in flavour and texture and lighter on spiciness. We also tried the local rice spirit, Sombai, which was surprisingly light and nice to drink.
