    Marahau

    Marahau is a village at the south end of the Abel Tasman Coast Track. We were there for two nights at a lovely Airbnb across from the ocean.

    On the second day after breakfast we hiked for 10 km along the Abel Tasman Coast Track to Observation Beach. Sam from Abel Tasman Kayaks was waiting for us on the beach with lunch and kayaks for our trip back to the village. There were eight guests in four double kayaks and Sam, for our 15 km paddle back.

    After supper we drove a few kilometers to Split apple Rock and explored for a bit. It was a great day!!    Read more
