Drive to Farmstay

Longish drive today to the farm stay. Arrived in the late afternoon after traffic jambs getting through Bilbao. Farmstay was exquisite, perched high on the hills overlooking the valley. Hosts spoke some english and were very friendly. No food at the digs so drove over to Laida to find dinner. Pinxtos and a cider at a lovely restaurant on the bay at Laida were great. The inlets all along the Basque coastline are really something. Usually, a road skirts the waterways and the mountains skirt the roads. Makes for some interesting drops!Leggi altro
